Being a single mom can be hard; but being a single mom diagnosed with breast cancer around Christmas is even harder. Jennifer Barnes-Froning, a single mom of four, got her breast cancer diagnosis in late 2010. Thankfully, her work family stepped up to help give her and her children a Christmas they will never forget. Her co-workers at GrillSmith Restaurant worked one night for free and raised over $6000 in tips! They also earned an additional $4000 in gifts through a bake sale. Talk about a story of a love and friendship.

Check out the amazing story below. If you’re not quite in spirit of giving yet, check out this story of a single mother who experienced a Christmas miracle of her own thanks to two kind-hearted police officers in New Jersey. Don’t forget to pay it forward this holiday season!
