This Restaurant Owner Makes Sure Everyone Leaves His Restaurant Happy — And Hugged!

Tim’s Place is a very unique restaurant in Albuquerque, New Mexico that has a special, competitive edge — the owner, Tim Harris, gives out hugs to all of his patrons!

Needless to say, it’s probably the friendliest restaurant on the planet.

Harris’ enthusiasm and love for his work never stops or dies. Just to give you an idea of what we mean, when he walks through the parking lot to the restaurant every day, Tim simply can’t contain his zeal.

“I am so excited to go to work,” Harris says in the video below. “So I do a dance-off in the parking lot. It’s a dance of magic!”

Harris has Down Syndrome, and this driven, friendly, energetic young man takes great pride in his restaurant. His favorite part? The people who come in and eat there. “We serve breakfast, lunch, and hugs,” Harris says. “The hugs are the best part.”
