In recent years, technology has cropped up to help kids on the spectrum, but this may be the cutest one yet. It’s called Leka, a toy robot that uses fun games to teach kids with autism valuable motor, social, and intellectual skills. It lights up, vibrates, moves, and makes noises to stimulate the senses, too.
This anime-eyed toy, which was presented at CES 2016 (the global consumer electronics and technology tradeshow in Las Vegas), is still in the creation process. But Leka’s founder has confidence that it will prove helpful for kids on the spectrum, as well as others who are differently abled.
