MTV Reality Show Features Two Autistic Brothers Navigating Adult Life

A sibling is a person with whom you have an incredible bond. And when your sibling shares the same neurotype as you—one that is not super common among other people, that can create an extra special connection because you have the ability to “get” each other when others may not.

Meet Kenny and Brad Benjamin. They are two brothers with this kind of special bond.

When they were toddlers, Kenny was diagnosed with Asperger’s, and Brad was diagnosed with autism.

They were recently on an episode of MTV’S True Life reality show and gave the world a peek at what it’s like to be an adult on the spectrum.

Kenny says, “Think of it as not a curse, but a miracle of sorts.”
