The “Dancing Barista” with Autism Goes on Ellen—and Gets the Greatest Surprise Ever!

In early 2016, Sam, a Starbucks barista with autism, gained internet fame after a video was posted online of him “dancing” in order to concentrate and keep his motor difficulties under control.

Recently, he and his manager Chris were invited appear on Ellen, where they told their amazing story.

Their story is so incredibly touching, so you’ll want to be sure to watch the whole thing. Learn how Chris and Sam met, how Sam got the job, and how both guys have grown over the time they’ve known each other.

It’s especially great when Sam says of Chris, “He’s an amazing boss and he’s also a really, really good friend, and I wouldn’t give him up for anything.”

Oh…and because Ellen has a heart of gold, she gave Sam the most incredible surprise ever. His reaction is so touching; it’s impossible not to smile at the big reveal!
